Overview

Join CorpComm as a part-time QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain reliable automated test coverage for web applications and digital properties. This role is engineering-focused and centered on automated testing, CI/CD integration, and code-driven quality practices (not manual-only QA).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for web UI and APIs with a focus on stability and speed
Integrate and optimize automated testing within CI/CD to support reliable releases and rapid feedback
Build testing utilities, fixtures, and patterns to keep tests maintainable, readable, and scalable
Identify gaps in coverage, prioritize automation opportunities, and reduce regression risk across releases
Analyze failures, triage flaky tests, and improve reliability through root-cause investigation
Collaborate with developers to define acceptance criteria, improve testability, and validate fixes quickly
Maintain clear documentation for test execution, pipeline usage, and quality gates

Requirements

Proven experience building automated tests for modern web applications (UI + API) in a professional environment
Hands-on experience with at least one modern automation framework (Playwright preferred; Cypress or Selenium acceptable)
Strong scripting/programming ability (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred; Python/Java acceptable with relevant tooling)
Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
Ability to design test strategies (smoke/regression), maintain test data, and reduce flakiness
Experience with API testing (REST), contract basics, and validating responses and error conditions
Familiarity with test reporting (JUnit, Allure, HTML reports) and actionable defect documentation
Working knowledge of accessibility testing signals/tools (e.g., axe-core) and how to automate key checks
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders
